Gimbert Associates LLC was formed in 2001 through the merger of
two of the Washington area’s most respected names in commercial
mortgage banking, the H.G. Smithy Company and Gimbert Associates.
The two companies had roots in the community extending back to
1930 and 1985 respectively, and the merger enabled us to create
a unique combination of experience and skills and to greatly expand
our capital sources.
Each of our select group of seasoned Principals has
been involved in the commercial lending field for over twenty years,
bringing a wealth of deal-making expertise, market knowledge and
lender contacts to the group.
Our Director of Loan Administration, Ms. Kyle Jones,
has over twenty years of experience handling the loan closing and
asset administration duties – paving the way for quick and
smooth processing.
